Mode of Action
It is a fungicide which destroys the nuclear structure of the bacteria and interferes with the metabolism of bacteria cells, causing physiological disorders and eventually leading to the death of bacteria..

Environmental Hazards
Benzisothiazolinone is toxic to fish. It is forbidden to be used in paddy filed with raising fish, shrimp and crabs. The field water after spraying shall not be directly discharged into the water body, away from the aquaculture area, and it is forbidden to clean the spraying equipment in water bodies such as rivers and ponds.
