Mode of Action
Diflufenican blocks carotenoid biosynthesis, by inhibition of phytoene desaturase. It is selective contact and residual herbicide, absorbed principally by the shoots of germinating seedlings, with limited translocation.
Isoproturon is selective systemic herbicide, absorbed by the roots and leaves, with translocation.
Benefits
1. Acts as a residual and foliar herbicide that can be applied pre-emergence and post-emergenc
2. Residual activity can be expected for up to 8 weeks after application under favourable growing conditions.
Precautions
1 .Avoid exclusive repeated use of herbicides from the same herbicide group code. Alternate or tank mix with products from different herbicide group codes,
2. Do not apply to crops under stress
3. Prevent spray from drifting to adjacent crops, grazing, rivers or dams
Environmental Hazards
This product may be hazardous to aquatic organisms, particularly in clear, shallow water bodies that are adjacent to treated areas. Transport to water by runoff or spray drift of this product in areas where surface water is present, or intertidal areas below the mean high water mark, should be avoided.
