Product details
Mode of Action
Branched chain amino acid synthesis inhibitor. Selective, systemic, absorbed by foliage. Inhibits plant amino acid synthesis - acetohydroxyacid synthase AHAS.
Benefits
1. Effectively control barnyard grass.
2. High activity with low dosage.
3. Long lasting. The effectivity can last 40-60 days if keeping the layer of water on the soil
Precautions
1. Only used in paddy rice fields. Do not be used in other crops.
2. Slow activity. The death of weeds can be found in 7-10 days after treatment.
3. The product is not effective against weed seeds and weeds during bud stage.
Environmental Hazards
Except when treating rice fields as specified, do not apply directly to water, or to areas where surface water is present or to intertidal areas below the mean high water mark. Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment washwater or rinsate.
Surface Water: can contaminate surface water through spray drift from aerial and ground application equipment. Treated rice field water can contaminate surface water through accidental release or overflow, or by deliberate release due to normal growing practices, including interim or final release of flood water at harvest.
Groundwater: demonstrates the properties and characteristics associated with chemicals detected in groundwater. The use of this chemical in areas where soils are permeable, particularly where the water table is shallow, may result in groundwater contamination.
