Mode of Action
Flonicamid inhibits feeding. Has systemic and translaminar activity and gives long-term control.
Benefits
1 .Approved for use on leafy and fruiting vegetables, cucurbits, brassicas, potatoes, pome and stone fruits.
2. Translaminar movement supports control via ingestion and contact.
3. Insects stop feeding within 30 minutes of ingestion.
4. Excellent residual control of up to three weeks.
5. Low impact on many important beneficial insects.
6. No known cross resistance with other insecticides.
Precautions
1. Since the a.i. is selective feeding blocker, the death of aphids is not seen until 2-3 days after application
2. Rotate the use of fungicide with different group to avoid resistance.
Environmental Hazards
For terrestrial uses: Do not apply directly to water, or to areas where surface water is present or to intertidal areas below the mean high water mark. Do not contaminate water when cleaning equipment or disposing of equipment wash waters.
